High-energy ion implantation and metallurgical bonding result in adhesion far superior to electroplating, creating a dense, pinhole-free film that isolates the coating from sweat, acids, and alkalis, preventing the precipitation of allergenic metals like nickel. Titanium nitride and zirconium nitride are ceramic hard films with an HV hardness exceeding 2000, making them wear-resistant and scratch-resistant for everyday wear. They are also highly environmentally friendly and affordable, offering both aesthetic appeal and guaranteed quality. The complete process of PVD multi-arc ion plating for jewelry is not complex. First, the jewelry is thoroughly cleaned, then placed in a sealed vacuum furnace to remove all air. Argon ions bombard the surface for deep cleaning. Next, the target arc evaporates the metal, transforming it into plasma, which is then rapidly adsorbed and deposited onto the jewelry surface under negative voltage, metallurgically bonding with the substrate to form a wear-resistant, colored coating.
